Foal from this breeding

Breeding between *abosz007’s RPS SkullCandy and our Beaumont’s Robin Redrock.

Sorry for the long story, but I got caught up with the BS staff being at RPS, so I had to keep writing as a bit of an obsession 0.o
I haven't actually read this through - so I doubt it'll make much sense =/

The quite of the morning air was broken as the triumphant neigh of a stallion rang out from the stable block at Royal Pirate Stables.
Heads turned, ears flickered, nostrils dilated, as the horse truck from Beaumont Stables drove up towards the gates and was let in to drive up the path, towards the daunting castle and stable block that marked the home of the staff of one of the most influential stables active at present.
Kalib Beaumont sat at the wheel of the brand new Lehel horsebox while Kimber sat in the other front seat – her nose literally pressed to the window as they passed the last of the trees and were presented with the main entrance of Royal Pirate Stables.
”Holy...” Grant began from the second row of seats, and John, his father, would’ve finished his phrase, yet was far too gobsmacked to speak.
He had always regarded Beaumont as the most beautiful horse stables he had ever seen, coupled with the breathtaking beauty of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, yet the sheer splendour of the Hungary setting made his heart skip-beats and almost consider asking for a transfer to this prestigious stables.

Kimber held her breath as the breaks were put on gently, and the horse truck rolled to a stop with a gentle squeal and her door swung open and she immediately belted across the path and smashed right into a tall, tanned individual with blonde dreadlocks and a bandage over one arm.

Pirate grunted as the wind was knocked out of him and stumbled back a few paces as the young girl, who was about 12 or 13, rushed into him, crushing his stomach in her hug.
“H–gah!” He spluttered and a man rushed out of the truck and pulled the girl away from him. Pirate immediately recognized the brown, red, blue, and purple hair from the picture on Beaumont Stable’s website, and greeted Kalib with a handshake and a serious, yet kind smile.
“It’s awesome to finally meet you, Mr Rodriquez.” He spoke with a New York accent and his blue eyes shone with delight.
“I'm Lyo,” Lyo introduced himself promptly and flashed a smile; Kimber giggled and blushed; Kalib looked embarrassed.
Suddenly, a neigh rang out and all heads turned towards the trailer, from which a beautiful golden chestnut mare was walking down the ramp with fire and excitement in her eyes. She bounded on the spot for a second, before rushing out into the open, flicking her tail and rose up into a rear, and a whinny sounding from her nostrils. It was answered a few seconds later by a chorus from one of the pastures.
Pirate chuckled, “I think the horses like you.” And he stepped closer to the Thoroughbred mare as she came back down onto her hooves and he scratched her neck affectionately, running his hands over her withers, shoulders and then down her legs, a check for cuts and bruises that had become a habit when greeting horses that had been travelling.
“She’s all sound,” John announced, walking closer to Robin and scratching the sweet spot behind her ears.
“Hello, Robin,” Lyo smiled, stroking the mare’s back, while John led her in a circle to dissipate some of her excitement and then Pirate promptly took her headcollar in his hands.
“The guest stables are this way,” he gestured and Robin followed obediently.
John sighed, looking disgruntled, but forced himself to look cheery – it wasn’t the nicest thing to do upon meeting these men to get on their bad sides.

Half an hour later, Robin had been settled into her new stall, which she found a lot of joy in circling a few times, and testing the rails to see if they were teeth-proof. Kalib felt quite ashamed that she was doing her best to destroy the beautiful stalls, yet the feeling of proudness to be at such a stables overwhelmed that, and Robin soon settled down and fell asleep with her head in a feed bucket.
“You want a tour of the land?” Pirate put forward from behind a stable door, and Kalib fought the reaction to flinch and jump in shock.
“Uh... I'm okay thanks. Just admiring the horses...” And then he realized that there was only one other creature in the guest stalls – and that was Pirate.
Pirate chuckled, gave Kalib and sympathetic smile, and led him out into the sunshine, where he was swiftly approached by Lyo, sitting astride a gorgeous pale flaxen chestnut stallion.
He recognized the marvellous creature as SkullCandy, the stallion was was to cover Robin either today or tomorrow.
“Oh... wow...” he managed, quite in awe at the Austrian Warmblood who stood about 16.2hh, with long locks of thick, almost shaggy mane and quiet yet curious eyes, he honestly seemed half-asleep, and Kalib was anxious to see the horse in action.
“He’s gooorrgeeeous!” Lyo trilled, throwing his arms around the stud’s neck in a hug – Skully’s head jerked up and his eyes flashed open in shock.
“’Gorgeous’ indeed,” Kalib repeated, and would’ve said more, when a familiar voice echoed from the back of the stalls, along with the plastic foot-falls that came from his daughter, Kimber, in her converse all-stars as she jogged up towards her father.
“Ooo-ooh!” She ‘oooed’ and took a brisk step towards the stallion, laying her hand softly on his muzzle and whispering to him too quietly for anyone else to hear, but it must’ve been some kind of compliment, because Skully’s ears drooped in contentment and he gave what could only be described as a horsey-smile.
“Hello there, honey,” Lyo said, and Kimber blushed again, and tried to hide it with a smile. “You wanna come for a ride on Skully?”
Kimber nodded enthusiastically, and Kalib sighed as Lyo produced a helmet from behind him and Pirate legged his daughter up onto the back of the stallion who looked nothing less than thrilled to have her on him.
“Just be careful!” Kalib warned, but it was in vain, Lyo, Skully, and Kimber were already off in a canter towards the fields, his daughter's wavy brown hair flying out behind him, her arms wrapped tightly around Lyo’s waist. “I believe my daughter has taken a fancy towards Lyo,” he chuckled and Pirate rolled his eyes and looked out towards them with an unreadable expression. Kalib felt quite inferior for no apparent reason.

It was later that evening, when Kimber, Kalib, John, and the staff at RPS were inside the castle, talking horses, that Grant took himself down to the stable block with only a torch and his helmet, and was greeted affectionately by Robin when she noticed him.
She had been quite lonely in the stables, and had been put next to a small silver bay mare called Lentilka, but she was fast asleep, so not the best company.
Grant say a soft ‘hello’ before waltzing into the stall, slipping on a halter, tying a lead rein around her neck, and trotting out of the building and down onto the grass.
The cool Hungarian air was a change, the lack of trees compared to the Rockies, as well as a view without mountains was quite disorientating for both Robin and Grant, who had never been out at midnight in a strange country before. However, their combined excitement was far too much to bear, and they both were speeding towards the training paddocks for a twilight gallop within seconds.

It was around nine o’clock the next morning that the Beaumont staff were woken and requested down by the paddocks.
They got out of bed and dressed, and made their way down towards the sound of neighs and squeals and, bleary-eyed, they all rested themselves on the rails as a marvellous pale chestnut, almost palomino, stallion was released onto the grass, along with a golden mare, who immediately stopped in her tracks as she saw him.
Robin was quite dumbstruck as the stallion approached her casually, and nipped her shoulder before wandering off in another direction, keeping his eyes on her at all times.
Robin squealed and bucked, before charging up to him and planting herself at his flank. A position she refused to move from for the next half hour.

That half hour was passed by Skully trying his hardest to stop the persistent mare from walking beside him, so he could, for lack of a better phrase, do his job. He bucked and kicked – never spitefully, but came close to kicking her a few times – and neighed and squealed, but Robin was far too mesmerized by him, and there was a kind of longing, obsessive affection in her eyes that refused to dim. The Beaumont and RPS staff finally intervened after another ten minutes, and held her away from him just long enough for her to be covered.
The attachment to Skully’s flank continued until Robin was removed from the paddock, at which point, the stallion was looking just as confused as a child presented with quantum physics.
