BS Rubie -- FOR SALE

Description

Rubie is currently for sale.
Selling some horses! Please check them out!So Kalib has worked it over and concluded that a few of Beaumont Stable's horses aren't getting the right attention and it's no longer fair to keep them just hanging about and not being worked properly. It's not fair on them to sit out in the field for so long.
To buy, please draw a picture, the more detail the more likely you are to get them, and do a small bit of text about what you plan to do with them. You need to be planning to really draw the horse cause me not drawing them is the reason for the sale.
You need to be an active stable (but not necessarily HARPG).
I reserve the right to decline your offer if I don't think you'll be suitable. I'm selling these horses because I don't give them enough attention; I won't let someone have them if I think they will just sit about again.
Beaumont's Robin Redrock "Robin"

7yo chestnut Thoroughbred mare. Trained in flat racing, very lovely mare and has thrown

Richard Grouse almost screamed and raked in the flying mane of the mare as he lost his reins and fought for his seat. The mare had done exactly what he had been warned off, exactly the information that he had ignored. Rubie was the resident hothead, loving every single second of her time out in the hills and would take every jump at least a stride before she had to.

“Steeaaadddyyyy!” Rich stuttered as Rubie kicked out her hind legs and bounced up, unseating him again, as she ran towards the ditch. “Whoa, whoa, whoa―!” Richard counted as they came closer, and he suddenly made a stretch forward, snatching up the leather reins and pulling back hard as Rubie gathered her energy and power in her hind legs and took off high, stretching out her body, leaving Rich behind in the movement. He struggled to keep his feet in the stirrups and grabbed the pummel of the saddle, jarring Rubie’s head just as she landed.

The mare snorted as she met the earth again and just as her hind legs did, she kicked them out, bucking, and arching her back as Rich pulled harder and harder on the reins as he felt the power building beneath him. Rubie twisted her body, bucking again and shaking her head and neck, trying to realise the pressure that was curving her neck back and put pressure on the edges of her mouth.

“Rich, let her go! You don’t fight with Rubie, just let her run!” Frankie Oaks, the head trainer, yelled through Rich’s earpiece and Rich grunted as Rubie bucked again. He tried again to pull her back, but this time, Rubie was prepared. Just as he pulled the reins back, she twisted her body, turning in a tight circle, almost in midair. Rich’s arms immediately were flung forward and her wrapped them around Rubie’s neck, dropping the reins.

As if a shot had been fired, Rubie twisted herself back to the track and took off, stretching out her entire body in a full stretched gallop. She moved faster and faster, running and running until she came to the hedge. She took off a full stride and a half before the jump, but cleared it with ease, looking as though her jump was part of her gallop; it was so seamless.

Rich still had his arms around her neck, sat perched on her shoulders like a jockey, using his knees to keep his balance, having abandoned the reins and stirrups. He could hear his heart beating triple time, the adrenalin pulsing through his veins, the wind whipping his face like lashes.

Just another minute until Rubie would take the last jump and return, just as she always did, to Frankie’s side to snuff for a titbit. Acting as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

This is Rubie, she was interesting to make, and I wonder what hers and Skylark’s foal will look like =P
But if anyone would like to breed her to their stallion, please devnote me.

Registered Name : :bulletorange: Beaumont’s Devil’s Redrock Calling-Card :bulletorange:
Stable Name : Rubie/ Rubes
Age : 7
Date of Birth : 13.01.2010
Gender : Mare
Breed : Thoroughbred

Bloodlines : Foundation
Ancestors to be Noted : Unknown

Height : 16.1hh (165cm / 65 inch)
Estimated Weight : 1,170 lbs
Phenotype : Palomino. Rubie, despite her name, is a pale golden palomino. The color of a cornfield we tend to say, it is very bright currently (summer time) but it fades to a much paler shade in the fall and winter. Her coat darkens about the crest of her neck and legs, but only by a shade or two, her top line is the palest part of her coat
Markings : Rubie has very standard markings, an oval star and the point of a stripe that extends half way down the length of her face. She has two long socks, the off fore sock being an inch and a half longer
Eyes : Dark brown
Genotype : | A+AA | ee | C+CCr | F+FF | NnNn |
Physical Appearance : Rubie has the body of a typical unschooled Thoroughbred, she has a long and lanky form, high, sloped withers and very powerful shoulders and hindquarters. Her whole body seems to be stretched, she has long, lopey legs that give her a very wide stride, and she has a low centre of gravity when walking. She has a slight ewe-neck from undeveloped muscles -this will be fixed- and a very small muzzle compared to the rest of her head. She has big, expressive eyes and an extremely silky mane and tail
Physical Traits :
:bulletred: Thoroughbred body shape (50%)
:bulletblack: Lopey stride (30%)
:bulletred: Big, bright eyes (60%)
:bulletred: Silky mane and tail (20%)
:bulletred: Cream dilution (when bred to an undiluted sire -25%. Single diluted sire -50%. Double diluted sire -75%)
:bulletred: Hidden flaxen gene (50%)
Temperament : Rubie has a very cavalier personality and is extremely pushy. She likes her space and everything to be by her standards and time which means that she has to have her breakfast at about 6.20am every morning and dinner bang on 5pm. It drives us all crazy because she does not stop neighing until she’s fed. However, we honestly wouldn’t change it about her, her character is so unique that it’s almost a pleasure to see her taking advantage of the new grooms and making herself noticed. This said, she is extremely sweet and affectionate and loves long and lazy days out in the paddock, although we are reluctant to turn her out with the other horses because of her very demanding personality and we know she does kick when provoked. Rubie’s personality under saddle is completely the opposite, however. She is very calm and sweet and extremely responsive. We know that she used to be a track horse, although any races she competed in were not kept with her files so we’re not sure whether she won much or even raced competitively. Rubie is amazing when doing hunter trials and takes the jumps boldly and with little fear, which means that we often have to hold her back rather than push her towards a scary or potentially dangerous jump. We expect that Rubie will be an excellent mother; she has her quirks, but would never hurt a human or another horse unless they are trying to assert some serious dominance over her
Personality Traits :
:bulletred: Cavalier personality (70%)
:bulletblack: Feeding time issues (40%)
:bulletblack: Sweetness (30%)
:bulletred: Kicking (20%)
:bulletred: Bold jump (80%)

History : Rubie was born and bred to be a racer and has the general personality and physical attributes of any racing Thoroughbred. However, we know little of her career of a two year old, she may have raced and won and been retired, raced and was retired because of a bad record, or never competed. Nevertheless, we came across Rubie when an ex-racers barn was having an auction and immediately fell in love with her quirky personality. However, it came as a serious shock to find out that she was in fact about eight months pregnant at the time and we were all excited to hear about it when we had her vet-checked. But it wasn’t meant to be, due to some unforeseen complications, the colt was stillborn. Rubie wasn’t herself for a few months after his death, and even as he lay in the straw and we removed the body, Rubie did her upmost to protect her baby. After the foal had been born, we started to reschool her and found that, despite her willingness to learn, we found it hard to break her racing habits such as her attitude that any gate was the starting gate and she would burst forward at full belt even when walking into a school. This resulted many times in the breakage of many of the rails in the school and our ever-increasing knowledge of her potential as a jumper. Even though she could easily clear a four-foot fence, we were never keen to put her highly-strung personality into a jumping ring and decided that we would instead use her racing skills and treat her as a hunter. So far, she holds the fastest time going round the course and she just loves the thrill of the run and the danger element of it, despite the nerves that her rider often carries since they learned that they would be riding Rubie around the course. Our future plans are to train her in some novice dressage and tame that lanky stride that she refuses to pull out of when schooling, and also to breed her, we believe that she will turn out some beautiful and charismatic foals and will make an excellent mother

Restrictions: Must be bred to
stallions over the age of 4. 15.2hh or taller. No heavy drafts. Realistic breeds. Natural coat-colors (can be out-of-standard for the breed)
Accepted Breeds: Hot-bloods (Arabians/Thoroughbreds), Friesians, Warmbloods/Sport Horses, Iberians (and similar breeds). (Note if you have any queries)
Age is not negotiable. We at BS do not believe a stallion younger than 4 is mature enough to cover a BS mare since they are often severely immature and could harm her through his incompetence.
