Physical Appearance: A medium built horse, heavier than Dez (a Thoroughbred) but not quite as heavy as Ali (a Friesian) is becoming. She has a very well proportioned head with a low jaw and curved forehead and big, alive, expressive, confident, eyes. Her neck is very deep and strong and rises up from the withers in a graceful arch when she wants. A deep chest and deep ribs, a smooth, straight back and well muscled legs, harmoniously inclined.

Temperament: As agile in her temperament as she is in built, an extremely sweet filly with a fantastic sense of harmony and softness. She is very noble, generous and ardent but so gentle Kalib quite happily lets Kimber into her stall and rests her on her back occasionally. She has a natural ability for concentration and great courage and enthusiasm about the yard and around new people.

Discipline(s): As expected, little Mali’s turning out to be a real superstar at just about everything we train her in. We started her off with some Parelli when she was a foal, and has excelling in that, and we took that into some trick-training, which then took the turn into Haute École which is her main discipline.
She also has a natural flair for dressage, and we’ve done both classical and natural with her, since she really hates being ridden with any kind of harsh bit – so a snaffle’s all we train her in when we can.
We also just like to ride her pleasurably, since we don’t want to push her much, since she’s only young, and she really loves just walking around the school or the grounds, working up the muscle she needs for training and spending time with the staff.

History: Rescued from a beaten down ranch where she was found alongside a very sick Lusitano mare (registered) who was later destroyed due to an extreme bout of colic. From then on she was taken to Riverside Foal Rescue, fed up and adopted by Kalib soon after.
She’s lived at Beaumont ever since, grown up healthily and happily and excelled in pretty much everything we challenge her with.
She has been trained up as a Dressage horse and now competes internationally with Grant.
